If you are thinking about learning how to drive a truck or operate heavy equipment, Northwestern Transport Training & Heavy Equipment Training Ltd. is the right place to learn how to do it! At Northwestern, students will acquire industry standard skills from our certified instructors and be on the road to success in no time! We are located in Thunder Bay, a city in southeastern Ontario on the shore of Lake Superior. Thunder Bay averages over 2,200 hours of sunshine annually and boasts a spectacular natural landscape with its flat topped Nor'Wester mountain range.

We specialize in transport driver and heavy equipment training. In addition, we offer courses on air brakes adjustment and endorsement, and wheel installation.

We operate a state of the art maintenance and training facility. We have several classrooms and our shop area is used for training and servicing our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. We are also equipped with a comprehensive collection of working training displays, videos, CDs, manuals, and other assorted teaching tools, which aid in our instruction.
