Can-Weld/Can-Fab Training and Testing Centre has be in operation since September 1999. Owned and operated by John Arseneault, a welder, fabricator, fitter for over 30 years; the Centre offers a state-of-the-art training facility.
The Centre is Canadian Welding Bureau accredited and registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act.
We offer training in welding, re-certification, and we also do Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) testing. For instance, we provide training in welding theory and application, shielded metal arc welding (S.M.A.W.), semi-automatic metal inert gas arc welding (M.I.G.), plate and pipe welding, gas tungsten arc welding (T.I.G.), basic blue print reading, flux cored arc welding (F.C.A.W.), general welding practices, and exotic metals.
We give job placement referrals.

We have 15 individual welding booths, each fully equipped with a Thermal Arc Fabricator series 250 AC/DC stick welding machine and all applicable tools.
