Profile

Established in 1997, as the first acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine institution in Alberta, we aimed to promote the education and development of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Canada. Moreover, we have been constantly promoted growth and integration with other health care practices. Today, our strong alumni practice the ancient medicine from east to west, serving the healthy communities and promoting healthy living.

Areas of Expertise

Established in 1997, we are proud to be the best institution in teaching acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in Canada.

Off Campus Housing

As you know, finding off-campus housing can be a difficult and time-consuming task for students. The official Alberta College of Acupuncture & TCM Off-Campus Housing website was designed to provide students with the maximum amount of information for available rental properties in the Alberta College of Acupuncture & TCM community while minimizing the time required to finding suitable housing.

Information Technology

We have incorporated the latest information technology in and out of the classrooms.

Affiliated Institutions

Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

International Involvement

In 2002, ACATCM and the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) established a formal joint venture relationship. Many of the excellent programs provided by BUCM, which have trained thousands of high quality professionals in the field are coming to Canada. In 2005, ACATCM has been established as the Canadian Education Centre of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (CECBUCM). This significant establishment will bring more quality programs to our prospective students in the near future.
