Description

International Indigenous Studies scholars ask questions such as: How can we preserve Indigenous languages? Does urbanization impact Indigenous peoples? How is the global Indigenous community connected?

International Indigenous Studies examines the experiences, culture, artistic endeavors, and current status of Indigenous people around the world. This program combines instruction in both Indigenous and Western worldviews, and is designed to attract both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. During the course of your studies you'll gain creative thinking skills, research and analytical capabilities, written and verbal communication skills, and cross-disciplinary understandings.
