DescriptionIn this program you will gain the expertise needed for a career as an accountant or manager. The program emphasizes conceptual issues, while providing you with the appropriate technical accounting skills. By focusing on important skills such as recognizing generally accepted accounting principles, creating reports, tax planning and auditing, you will gain a clear understanding of the relationships between accounting and related management issues. The program prepares you for global career opportunities in the areas of forensic accounting, financial auditing, and tax accounting. The Co-op program allows you to alternate in-school learning with 12 to 16 months of full-time paid work experience.
