Description | Systems within facilities have become increasingly sophisticated, growing beyond the basic electrical, power and lighting systems to include signal and alarm, emergency lighting, communications and energy management. As well, advancements in technology are having a major impact on automation and control, increasing the demand for technical people to install, operate and maintain these systems.
Students enrolled in the Electrical Technology program may choose an area of study in either of two profiles: Industrial Electrical Technician (IET) or Electrical Construction Wiring (ECW). | | |
