Description | The Academic Upgrading Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Adults is the only college-based Literacy and Basic Skills program of its kind in Toronto, with all courses taught in American Sign Language (ASL). The program is for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students who want to upgrade their English, ASL and Math for success in further education, training or employment. New students can join the program each semester. There is no tuition fee for this program. Transportation subsidy is available for qualified students. The program is funded by Employment Ontario through the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU). | | |
