| Description | This College Certificate program provides students with the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality, well-defined project solutions. Through applied learning activities, students learn skills and strategies for moving through the project life cycle phases. They develop a critical understanding of management and human resources, project risk and quality, scheduling and software, and contracting and procurement. Students work through the curriculum to develop a project management plan that can be applied to real-life scenarios.
The curriculum is based on the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)® developed by the Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI). One of the leading international associations of professionals specializing in the art and science of project management, the PMI sets the standard of excellence for the profession. Algonquin College has been reviewed and approved as a provider of the project management training by PMI. Our facilitators are Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential holders. | | |
