Description | If you want to understand the political and economic challenges facing the world today, our new Economics, Politics and Policy degree is for you. We'll teach you about how policymakers respond to topical issues like economic inequality, climate change and immigration. You'll learn to critically assess the consequences of political decisions, by understanding who gains and loses from them, and the feasibility of alternative courses of action.
This degree places a strong emphasis on developing skills that will equip you for a rewarding graduate career. During the course of your studies, you'll develop a sought after combination of quantitative and critical analytical skills. In the second year you'll have the opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge of a policy area of your choice, while in the third year you'll put what you've learnt into practice with a placement at one of our London-based partner institutions.
