Description | If you want to explore the perspectives around the causes of crime and the role and function of the criminal justice system, together with the complementary study of key legal principles, then this degree gives you an opportunity to study Law alongside Criminology in an integrated programme. In addition to giving you knowledge of law, and civil and criminal justice systems, it will help you develop a critical understanding of the connections between the law and the institutions, processes and perceptions of crime and criminal justice and examine the complex and often contradictory relationship between crime, justice and the law.
