Description | This degree will provide a thorough grounding in the theoretical principles and essential skills needed to work within the ethos of Community Development with families and communities. It provides placement opportunities that give you an understanding of how to apply the theory in practice. You will explore the social, economic, spiritual and political factors affecting family and community wellbeing within the UK and on a global basis, while examining the leadership and management skills needed to work effectively with other professionals in an integrated way. The programme will give you the knowledge to communicate with diverse and vulnerable groups and work within legal, ethical and professional boundaries.
