DescriptionIf you are seeking a career working with children and young people and have a particular interest in child and adolescent mental health, this degree will enable you to develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a range of contemporary topics and emerging themes across services in this sector. You will be encouraged to examine the influence of key Government policies and explore a range of interventions in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of cross-discipline approaches to treatment and support. The course embeds high quality research and evidence-based practice and enables you to gain extensive work-based experience. If you wish to work in children’s services and support children, adolescents and their families who are experiencing mental health problems, or who are at risk of disadvantage through poor mental health, then this innovative degree is for you.
