DescriptionThe Certificate in French as a Second Language (CFLS) is a full-time, eight-month program designed to help students achieve an intermediate level of bilingualism. The program is available to students of all years and programs who have beginner knowledge of French. Thanks to its small cohort, students receive optimal individual instruction in a supportive environment, as well as one-on-one support from an academic advisor at La Cité’s Centre de services aux étudiants. La Cité also offers free tutoring and a variety of scholarships. Students have a real-world opportunity to put their French skills to the test as they complete an internship in a francophone organization.
