Description | The Mental Health Intervention two semester Ontario College Graduate Certificate program prepares front line service providers or recent graduates of public safety and corrections, emergency response and health practitioners, community and social service workers, child and youth workers, recreational therapists, etc., who wish to obtain a specialization in mental health intervention to better support individuals and families in their mental health and wellbeing. The combination of theoretical and practical course content provides students with the knowledge, skills, and judgment to contribute to positive mental health and wellbeing when working with individuals, families or in community settings.
