Description | Seneca’s Sustainable Business Management focuses on the long term economic, environmental and social value of sustainable business strategy. Our mission is to provide both the applied management and project skills, as well as measurement tools to enable you to develop, propose, and drive sustainability initiatives in organizations.
Focus on the inevitable growing global need for managers with sustainability expertise whose skills will be required by organizations as they adapt to fast changing economic and environmental realities. You'll engage in topics that include the development and implementation of economically viable sustainability strategies and initiatives, sustainable entrepreneurship, measures and the evaluation of carbon footprints, "lean" business practice applied to sustainability, finance and project management. As a student in this program you'll have access to our HELIX innovation incubator (senecacollege.ca/helix). At the end of the program you'll have the opportunity to do a 5-6 week work placement (May/June) with a company or organization, where you'll apply your skills to a project. | | |
