DescriptionThis is a four-year degree programme that is focused on mathematical and statistical approaches for quantitative management. Mathematics and statistics are core to most modern-day science and have important applications in industry and commerce. The concepts introduced in this pathway span from deriving sound inference from limited or large amounts of data to the mathematical modelling and solution to problems in the organisation and management of complex systems in industry and commerce. The skills acquired include formulating problems in mathematical and/or statistical terms, and expressing solutions in a form intelligible to lay people.
