Description | Midwifery is a rewarding, dynamic and highly skilled profession. This course will equip you with the knowledge, skills and attributes to deliver woman and family centred, safe and effective care, and work alongside interdisciplinary teams in maternity services as a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registered midwife.
You will have the opportunity to learn in our state-of-the-art clinical skills and simulation suite and complete practice placements in a range of clinical settings including hospital and community with our internationally-recognised training partners. An international elective placement (optional) is offered in your final year to explore the context of international midwifery care. The course is split equally between tuition in QUB and in clinical practice. | | |
