Description | The LL.M. in International Business Law responds to the transformational changes in the legal industry, including the impact of globalization, innovation and technology. This practice-oriented LL.M., with a rigorous focus in business law, international business transactions and operational skills, also offers students the opportunity to acquire technological knowledge, interdisciplinary training and skills that are in high demand to become the future leaders of the legal service industry.
The LL.M. in International Business Law offers rigorous academic and professional training in subjects relating to corporate law, finance, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, tax, international trade, antitrust, IP and the resolution of international business disputes.
With a special emphasis on an international dimension and a comparative law approach, the program provides students with solid and practical knowledge in international business transactions and operational skills through two capstone projects: an operation from an In-house Legal Department of a major company and a cross-border deal designed and guided by M&A lawyers of international law firms, corporations and consultancies. | | |
