This extended course is perfect if you want a degree in International Development but you don't have the standard entry requirements.
First we prepare you for your degree during the Foundation year, bringing you up to speed with academic skills and a firm grounding in the subject. Then you can go on to do the full undergraduate degree.
On this degree course you'll learn how social development is affecting the people who live in the world's poorest countries. You'll learn about globalisation and consider its impact on the people of Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Europe. And find out about the way NGOs work to address issues of poverty.
Remember, because there are no general education courses, you can earn a bachelor's degree in only 3 years at UEL — 4 with a foundation year.
