DescriptionDesign-led innovation has the potential to redefine the way we live, the way we do business and the way we create our future. At Northumbria, we believe that the realisation of ideas as truly transformative isn’t a solo act. It’s collaborative and multidisciplinary. It relies on individual growth and a willingness to work with others to venture into the unknown. This is MA/MSc Multidisciplinary Innovation.

In a fast-paced dynamic and creative environment students and academics work on a range of commercial and social innovation projects with external organisations. Project briefings, insight development, ideation, concept refinement and evaluation, strategy development and communication, client pitches. Each of a suite of diverse projects will challenge you as you learn how best to contribute your knowledge and expertise within a multidisciplinary team. This Masters' level innovation course is project-focused. It delivers discrete knowledge about science and technology, business and leadership principles, personal development and team dynamics, and innovation methods and communications to support project practice.
