The Academy is affiliated with St. Lawrence College, who provides oversight over all curriculum, faculty, and operational quality for college-level programs delivered at Alpha’s Toronto campus. Students can apply through Alpha at: http://slc-alpha.ca/apply-online and are considered enrolled at St. Lawrence College once admitted. Graduates receive a St. Lawrence College diploma or graduate certificate, depending on their course of study.
The General Arts & Science Diploma provides a broad liberal arts curriculum that prepares students for the workforce, college programs, or transfer to university. Core courses provide a solid foundation in communications and interpersonal skills, computers, mathematics, analytical skills, and applied science. Complementing these are general education courses in a variety of cultural and business-related topics such as Film, Environmental Studies, Organizational Behaviour, and Entrepreneurship. Those heading for the workforce acquire effective career search techniques and have the opportunity to complete a work placement with an employer. Alpha Arts & Science courses have been designed to meet the needs of International students and equip them for future study or employment in Canada or around the globe. | | |
