Description | Learn the skills to work in today's changing media industry. In year one of the program, you are exposed to all three media areas and are immersed in the fast-paced production environment of a real TV studio. You operate the equipment, apply the theory, write and produce scripts, develop your story-telling and writing skills and practise your ‘on air’ presentation skills for TV, radio and online formats. You work with teams to create, produce and present real news, using the latest technology. In year two, you have the opportunity to focus your skills in the areas of either Television Production, Radio Performance & Studio Production or Journalism.
Graduates from this program are equipped with the technological skills needed to ensure their adaptability for this nimble industry. Freelance work and entrepreneurial opportunities are a fast growing area in this field. You are exposed to skills and approaches needed to excel in this area. | | |
