Description | Almost every aspect of business, education, and healthcare relies increasingly on information technology (IT). As the world embraces new technologies, IT and related technical knowledge and skills have become even more important. IT professionals are typically members of teams that provide technical support and information to organizations. These teams work with stakeholders to analyze, plan, and implement problem-solving solutions in support of the organization's needs. This program provides a strong IT foundation and helps you develop advanced skills that best suit your personal goals and interests.
Throughout this hands-on program, current industry standards are reflected in our lab environments/equipment and help prepare you to work on industry projects as part of your work term. You may also have an opportunity to work on projects that contribute to community and non-profit organizations. During the second year of the program, you have the opportunity to focus on database administration, database development, systems management and network administration, programming, or web programming. | | |
