Description | This program blends the creative disciplines of graphic design, video, photography, animation, type, and sound with technical and problem-solving skills required for Game Development.
In this program, you use the computer extensively, as an artistic and creative tool. As well as learning technical and design fundamentals, you're immersed in the tools and processes of the industry, developing and producing a variety of projects. In the first year, you develop fundamental skills in game design and animation, as well as work with 3D modeling software, visual design, video, visual effects, and compositing. This exposure enables you to explore your options and interests. After your first term, you choose courses that focus your learning in game development, 3D Modeling & Motion Capture, or Visual Effects. During the second year of the program, you continue your studies by choosing a broad focus that prepares you with the skills to work as a generalist in game development, or a specialist in 3D Modeling and Motion Capture Artist, or Visual Effects. | | |
