DescriptionThe College of Law offers research programmes leading to the advanced degrees of PhD and MPhil. Students engage in a period of supervised research leading to the production of a thesis, which is then presented for examination. The degree of PhD requires a minimum of three years' full time study, whilst an MPhil takes one. The doctoral programme provides guidance on research methodology in a wide range of areas, both subject-specific and multi-disciplinary.
