Description | This course, accredited by the Association for Nutrition, will help explain the science and social factors at work in our diet. From this you will develop the skills and ability to help people choose nutritional diets while contributing to the growing public health agenda surrounding obesity.
Taught by staff with current active industry experience and registered nutritionists, you will learn through a combination of traditional teaching methods such as lectures, seminars, tutorials and laboratory practicals. You also have the option of extending your study by taking a one-year placement within the field of nutrition after the second year of study. A final year individual research project will allow you to specialise in your preferred area of nutrition. | | |
