DescriptionThis full-time programme offers students the opportunity to work towards an LLM qualification and a Postgraduate Diploma in Bar Professional Training over two years.

The aim of the programme is to enhance the knowledge and skills students will attain from the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) by simultaneously developing their knowledge and understanding of a specific area of law through their study under an LLM programme. The LLM programme requires students to undertake a project of 15,000 – 17,000 words in a subject linked to an area of study under the BPTC, thus enhancing their Bar qualification, knowledge, research skills and employability. The programme offers a different pathway to students who would like to attain an award under the Bar Professional Training Course but would, at the same time, like to enhance their legal research skills through the completion of a project.
