Description | The BA Media and English Language allows the study of print and broadcast media to cinema and television, digital publishing, social networking, and public relations, the media increasingly defines the way we interact with our society. The English Language element looks at why language works; how words combine to inspire us and move us, to persuade, encourage and amuse us – or even how we acquire language in the first place.
The BA Media and English Language allows the opportunity to study the interdisciplinary field of media and commnication through distinct pathways in digital media, film, public relations, journalism and practical media. Programmes are intended for students who wish to deepen and extend their understanding of the English language as well as of language and communication more generally. | | |
