| Description | The Applied Business Technology (ABT) Online Collaborative Program is a collaboration between thirteen BC and Yukon colleges and universities to consolidate ABT online courses and program delivery into one program, delivered completely online through BCcampus.
VCC’s Applied Business Technology certificate program prepares graduates for employment as administrative assistants, with the option of taking an accounting or an administration specialty.
Students will acquire the skills and knowledge to use effective oral and written communication techniques; demonstrate time management techniques by determining work priorities; and create, revise, and process business correspondence and documents. Students will use word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software to perform a variety of assignments to the professional standards expected in an office. | | |
