| Description | This two-level program prepares beginner-level English second language students to enter the English for Academic Purposes (EAP International) program. Students build English language skills through reading, writing, grammar, listening and speaking practice. This program provides students with an intensive English immersion experience. Small class sizes provide an interactive and dynamic classroom environment. Students are part of a rich international and cross-cultural environment created by classmates from a wide range of language, work and educational backgrounds.
Graduates of the program receive a Statement of Achievement and meet the requirements to enter the EAP International program at Algonquin College. A placement test determines the appropriate level of study.
