Description | Health Studies is a unique and interdisciplinary undergraduate program that draws from the sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities/fine arts. The program is organized around a set of core courses, which all students in the program will take.
The program identifies a number of courses that address issues of health ranging from biological and genetic factors to psychological, cultural, and environmental ones. Within these courses, students are allowed considerable flexibility in choosing areas of study that are of interest to them, with half of the courses drawn from the Sciences and half from the Social Sciences and Humanities.
