Exploration continues to be strong, with renewed interest in base and precious metals and diamonds. Long term career prospects are good, especially for highly skilled, technical workers.

Graduates may find employment as exploration or geological technicians, mine technicians, surveyors, assayers, metallurgical technicians or process or mill operators. With experience you can advance to be a planner, inspector, safety technician, project manager or supervisor.
