Description | The Illustration course is all about drawing stories. Taught by a team of award-winning illustrators, we create a platform for you to network, publish, exhibit and sell your work.
Visual storytelling is given special emphasis because it links together so many aspects of illustration production from the graphic novel to children’s books, storyboards and animation. You’ll also focus on drawn ideas which form a key part of many areas within the wider creative industries such as games, concept art and digital visualisation. In your first year you’ll learn life and location drawing skills, printmaking, specialist software and animation skills before focusing on areas such as sequential illustration, professional practice and publishing in your second and third year.
