DescriptionIf you are passionate about film and want to carve out a career as a screenwriter, film critic, film festival programmer, marketer, PR or even in film research and education, then this course is designed for you. You will be taught by a diverse team with the perfect blend of practical and research experience, with theory specialisms including audiences and identity, art-house and independent cinema, horror, animation and film distribution.

In practical modules you will work with film-makers, screenwriters and editors who can share their experience of current practice. A work placement is built into the course so you can gain valuable skills and contacts before graduating. Previous students have worked at Aardman Animation, Cheltenham Film Festival and the Gloucester Guildhall. Soak up the atmosphere of film’s most exciting festivals including Cannes, Berlin and Encounters (Bristol).
