Description | The BA (Hons) Investigative Journalism degree aims to consider the history, theories, and research techniques that underpin investigative journalism. Students have the opportunity to learn to use legislation, such as the Freedom of Information Act, to expose the truth and develop the skills to conduct rigorous interviews. Students are asked to apply this learning throughout the degree, researching, and producing their own reports.
Course content is informed by the School of English & Journalism’s research program, which aims to examine issues such as human rights reporting. The course is taught by academics, researchers, and practicing journalists. | | |
