Description | The Sport Development and Coaching degree draws on contemporary research with the aim of giving students the opportunity to develop their expertise and ability in a range of areas. These include leading and teaching sport and physical education sessions; creating and testing exercise programs; and developing, managing, and evaluating community sports schemes. This progressive and multidisciplinary degree is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the broad aspects of coaching and sports development. It is underpinned by high-quality scientific research and field investigations.
Throughout the Sport Development and Coaching degree, you will have the opportunity engage in practical, laboratory, and field-based testing and training activities in addition to more traditional lectures and interactive seminars.
