Description | Food Science Technology (Fast Track) will benefit you if you are a qualified college or university graduate who wishes to receive an advanced diploma in two years (four semesters) by gaining direct admission into year two (semester three) of this three-year program. Food undergoes many processes as it travels from the field to your fork and this offering will open the gateway to immerse yourself with the science of food. Facilitated by the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science, it will cover the disciplines of chemistry, engineering, biology and nutrition that preserve, process, package and distribute foods that are healthy, affordable, desirable and safe to eat.
