Prerequisites Notes | Diploma programs will require an Ontario Secondary School graduation diploma or equivalent. If 18 years of age or older, you may qualify as a mature student. Mature students must obtain a passing grade on a literacy and general aptitude assessment. The National Academy of Health & Business also accepts students based on previous education, work experience and evaluation tests. All applicants will be assessed individually.

Description | The Medical Laboratory Assistant / Technician diploma program provides both strong theoretical and practical teaching instruction in a newly designed, state-of-the-art laboratory on site. With this combination of instruction, the students obtain a strong basis to prepare for the challenges of a career in the healthcare field.
The program provides a well-rounded combination of lectured instruction with hands on laboratory work on which to grow and learn, including a 4-week clinical placement. | | |
