Description | Our unique Bachelor of Humanities program offers a four-year adventure through some of the most exciting and significant philosophical and religious ideas, literary works, historical events and works of art from ancient civilizations to the contemporary world. The Bachelor of Humanities program begins with the study of the religious cultures of ancient China, India, Israel and Greece. Over the course of the program, students trace the development of Western culture through Greek and medieval philosophy, the literature and art of the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, and the politics, history and philosophy of the contemporary world. Graduates of the program are better able to understand themselves and the world, to make free and well-informed judgments, to contribute significantly to civic life, to analyze difficult and complex ideas, and to write with precision, clarity and persuasiveness. The Humanities and Biology program is designed for students intending to apply to medical school upon graduation. This degree program is very intensive, as students must complete a rigorous program in Humanities and in science. | | |
