DescriptionDevelopmental Psychology is a specialized undergraduate major within the Psychology department that focuses on child, adolescent, and adult development. Courses emphasize different developmental periods and various aspects of both normal and abnormal development. In addition to course work, students have the opportunity to participate in ongoing research groups and are encouraged to apply their classroom skills by getting involved in community organizations. In their fourth year, students can apply to participate in the Developmental Psychology Practicum in which they review learning-based behaviour change strategies and apply them in community placements.
