Description | Thinking of a career in health but not sure you want to be a doctor or nurse? Health Studies prepares students for non-clinical careers that are strongly in demand due to a growing and aging population. In the program, students learn about the areas of Health Management (health systems performance, leadership and decision-making), Health Informatics (the growing importance of data and information technology in the health care system) and Health Policy (looking at bigger picture solutions to address health system challenges such as access, chronic disease and health inequities). You can also choose a specialized honours in either Management, Informatics or Policy.
