Prerequisites NotesTo apply for admission into Economics Plans, students must be in good academic standing and have successfully completed at least two ECON courses at UW. The minimum cumulative ECON grade average required for admission is 75% for Honours Economics (Regular or Co-operative) and 65% for General Economics (including Three Year, Four Year or Minor Studies). Please view ECON degree requirements. Mathematics of Data Management and Calculus and Vectors is recommended, however you may opt to take an introductory calculus course in first year to acquire additional background.
