Description | The Substance Abuse Counseling Program is designed to provide education and training in the prevention, intervention, and treatment of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) disorders. This program can be taken as part of a student’s graduate studies at either the masters or doctorate level as a concentration and is accredited as an Advanced Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor Training Program by the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Profession Certification Association, Inc.
