DescriptionThe bachelor of science degree in criminal justice offers you the opportunity to specialize in one of six areas of concentration. This integrated program requires students to complete an internship as well as a senior project. Students selecting the law enforcement, criminalistics or public safety options may also be eligible for police certification under the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES). Students completing the associate’s or bachelor’s degree in corrections will also be eligible for certification by the Michigan Corrections Officer Training Council (MCOTC).
