Description | The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Instructional Design (PBDID) is offered by Athabasca University's Centre for Distance Education. Instructional design is a developing field with changing needs. As distance education and web-based learning grows and evolves, so too does instructional design. Professional instructional designers and educators with instructional design skills are in demand. The PBDID program is intended for practitioners who are specifically interested in pursuing instructional design as a profession. The PBDID diploma program provides learners with state-of-the-art knowledge and research in instructional design, hands-on experience with various distance education technologies, and individualized student support. | | |
