DescriptionThis concentration will help you lay critical groundwork for future professional study in counselling or therapy. You will develop excellent communication skills and learn to apply them effectively in both personal and professional contexts. You will enhance your knowledge of techniques and theoretical frameworks employed in various forms of therapeutic practice, including clinical and pastoral settings. You will explore the relationships between your own faith perspectives, and the counselling theories and techniques presented in class; you will also become more clearly aware of your gifts as a listener and helper.
