DescriptionBuilding Systems professionals see four walls as the start of endless opportunities. They help design and manage mechanical systems for residential and commercial buildings. You'll learn about electrical systems, plumbing, piping, fire control, thermodynamics, and HVAC systems, as well as how to create structural and industrial designs. Many courses in your first year are common with other technology programs and provide flexibility for credit transfer. From electrical, lighting, heating and air conditioning, to alarms and fire and water protection services, each new building needs a systems expert who imagines the bigger picture from the starting box on a page.
