Description | Apply your attention to detail and excellent visualization skills in today's machining and welding trades . This pre-employment program offers you the opportunity to explore two trades. The machining specialization prepares you to work on band saws, lathes, milling machines and drill presses while exploring up and coming technology with industry specific software and 3D printers. The welding and fabrication specialization introduces you to oxyacetylene welding, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, and plasma cutting. Gain additional training on hoisting, lifting, rigging and handling materials with cranes. | | |
