DescriptionThe Civil Engineering Technology Distance Education program was established at BCIT in conjunction with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Highways (www.gov.bc.ca/tran) in 1986. It provides opportunities in Civil Engineering Technology for distance education learners through home study credit courses.

If your job involves: planning, designing and building highways and roads, cost estimating, contract administration, bridge inspections, or other civil engineering technology activities, you can benefit by enrolling in one or more of our courses.
