Description | If you are interested in learning how you can make a difference to the world in which we live by helping apply environmentally sustainable approaches to community and regional planning the Community and Environmental Planning Concentration will appeal to you.
You will learn how to work in a team environment providing a variety of mapping, research, and other technical functions to support community, regional, and environmental projects and policy development. A primary focus of this concentration is that of data analysis, problem solving, and geomatics applications to support decision making. Off-campus field work is an integral part of the concentration, involving students in community projects. Learning by doing; the study of actual cases is emphasized, both as part of regular class work and through independent study. | | |
